The location was absolutely perfect! It was right in the heart of everything, making it super convenient to explore the city. Plus, the building itself was a work of art with its unique murals and cool caricatures of famous people. I loved being surrounded by such creativity.
There were a few issues that dampened my experience. the breakfast that was advertised turned out to be non-existent, which was really disappointing.

We only stayed over one night and left early in the morning for the airport. The staff were very helpful in arranging for a taxi, etc.
The location is rather noisy due to being located on a busy street near restaurants and pubs.

Great location in the heart of the city, near the river and main attractions
Helpful and friendly staff who provided excellent service. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet and the option to have a filling meal before heading out for the day
Some cleanliness issues in the dorm room, with dirty pillows and a bathroom that needed attention. Staff could have been friendlier, but this may have been due to a rough day.

We were very close to Dublin city center (better to say directly in the center), good access to internet (wifi in our room), our room was quiet (no noise during the night, nor the neighbors) - it was very important for us. So we were satisfied.
Too small bathroom, shower was good, but miniature washbasin (no chance to wash your face or teeth).

it is close to the heart of the city, everything within walking distance
staff just at the reception, to give the keys. afterwards, none around. the breakfast is awful in an awful place.

The location was very convenient for sightseeing and getting meals, with the city center being so close. the pub next door served delicious pub food. the hostel had great extra spaces and a well-equipped kitchen. the breakfast provided was also enjoyable.
Felt happy, no complaints.

We booked a private room and it was AWESOME. They gave us an apartment really comfortable.
We had the breakfast included but 1) time is too short (from 08.00 to 09.30) when you are on holiday you want to relax and not being thinking about getting pretty early 2) there were only bread, jams and butter. that was it. really poor and the place was a little bit dirty.

The bed was comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. the central location made it easy to explore the city. the free breakfast was a nice addition to start the day.
The staff could have been more friendly and informative upon check-in. the lack of clear rules and explanations made it confusing.

We had a problem with Abbey court and I do not feel the problem was resolved well. We were not the only ones with issues occuring-someone had an issue at the same time at the desk. We had a double room and could barely walk around the bed and the bathroom was small also. Yes the hostel was central but from our experience I would not recommend this place or stay there again.

I liked where the hostel was positioned its right in the middle of town, it is very clean the hostel has something for everyone also really good internet down in the internet room
They can do your laundry for 10 euros but I didnt like not being able to jus go to the laundry and do my own with those 2 euro machines, also the rooms could be a little bigger and the wifi was very slow if even working in room.

I recently stayed at Abbey Court in the heart of Dublin. My purpose was to explore the city for a few days, and I was pleasantly surprised by the hostel's amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful, ensuring a smooth check-in process. The rooms and the entire hostel were kept clean, and there was plenty of space to store my belongings. The colorful decor added a vibrant touch to the atmosphere. I also appreciated the wide range of entertainment options, including a cinema room, reading room, billiard table, computer room, PlayStation. The hostel's central location made it easy to access all the attractions, and they even sold tickets for nearby trips like the Cliffs of Moher.
I would recommend this hostel.
